Boss Strats
Ko'ragh
  • Has a shield that absorbs MAGIC damage; when depleted-recharges for 20sec within a rune (center), first person to enter the rune gains a massive shield Nullification Barrier = allows to soak the Overflowing Energy (green balls falling from the ceiling). Different person per recharge, since can have multiple OE at the same time.

  • Spread out for Suppression Field, don’t stand in void zone it leaves. Tanks, drag Volatile Anomalies (9per recharge) into the void zone to die to avoid Destabilize (raid damage). Ranged DPS, do not kill adds unless inside the zone.

  • Tank switch when the tank is targeted by Expel Magic: Arcane (affected tank move out of the raid).
  • Expel Magic: Fire - spread out at least 5 yards apart (including Melee!).
  • Expel Magic: Frost - get away from the orb of Frost.
  • Expel Magic: Shadow - use healing cds.

  • Kargath BladefistPlease see "Full Start Info" for a video and "Icy Veins Guide" for full details with links to abilities (below). Here is a summary of important points:

  • Tank switch for every other Impale cast. Tanks and Healers, be prepared for intense damage and active defensive cooldowns.
  • Healers, beware of raid damage during Blade Dance, and increasing damage as more Iron Bombers are present.
  • Ranged DPS, if in the stands, kill as many adds as possible, ideally prioritizing Drunken Bileslingers.

  • EVERYONE, if you are chased by Kargath during Berserker Rush, kite him into an active Fire Pillar to stop his chase. Tanks do not need to worry about this.
  • Make sure to spread out and not to be close to Kargath at the end of his Chain Hurl, unless you are assigned to being sent up into to the stands.

  • The Butcher
    Important abilities:
  • The Tenderizer - significant physical damage, increases damage from Tenderizer by 50%, always hits.
  • The Cleaver - heavy attack, with bleed, stacks, can be avoided.
  • Frenzy - at 30% health; 10% more damage and 30% faster attacks.

  • Heavy Handed - auto attacks trigger a second attack on the closest target within 5 yards; if no target is found, the primary target is struck.

  • Cleave - massive physical damage on the largest clump of players in melee range; split between all targets. Causes:
  • Gushing Wounds - 15sec bleed, stacks, at 5 stacks instant death.
  • Bounding Cleave - knock bnack at 100 energy; Cleaves ranged group.

  • Tectus
3 phases: Tectus, Shards of Tectus(2), Motes of Tectus(4).
  • The Living Mountain, while the buff is active Tectus is unkillable (also applies to Shards); once Energy is full, buff goes away = kill window ~ 13sec. During that time: Tectonic Upheaval does massive raid-wide damage (can have multiple at one time).

  • Kite Crystalline Barrage away from the raid and dodge Fracture and Earthen Pillar.
  • Focus on killing the Night-Twisted Earthwarpers; soak void zones (Gift of Earth), pay attention to Petrification debuff.
  • Night-Twisted Berserker do random charge, deal high damage if caught in their path.
  • Accretion Tectus periodically gain a stack of a 5% damage increase, removed by doing enough damage to boss.

  • Brackenspore
    Positioning, general notes:
  • Stack on beneficial mushrooms
  • Healers keep up Living Mushrooms especially during:
Infesting Spores - 10sec channeled, deals massive raid-wide damage.
  • Ranged intercept Spore Shoot (from Spore Shooters).
  • All DPS kill Mind Fungi to avoid debuff on healers.
  • Avoid Creeping moss, 1-2 people assigned on Flamethrowers.

    Tanks/Healers:
  • Rot – stacking dot, requires tanks switch.
  • Top off tank before Necrotic Breath, use defensive cooldowns (no healing possible during cast).

    Interrupts:
  • Decay from Fungal Flesh-Eaters.

  • Twin Ogron
Pol and Phemos have a shared health pool; gain haste with distance from each other; use abilities at 33, 66, and 100 Energy.

    Tanks:
  • Tank the two bosses together; move apart for Whirlwind or Shield Charge.

  • High damage on Phermos tank during Whirlwind (Phermos, 33%).
